Rocky Mountaineer Expands Canadian Sales Team with the Addition of a New Sales manager

Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada (January 10, 2011) – Rocky Mountaineer, known globally as Western Canada’s award-winning luxury rail experience, is pleased to announce the appointment of Cynthia (Laforge) Landry to the position of Sales Manager, Eastern Canada. Based in Toronto, Ontario, Landry is responsible for generating sales at the retail level through travel agency partners in both the Ontario and Quebec markets.

With over seven years sales and operations experience in the financial and tourism industries, Landry brings a results driven track record and fresh approach to Rocky Mountaineer’s sales force. She also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Moncton and is fluent in both English and French.

The addition of a new Sales Manager in Eastern Canada will help to increase Rocky Mountaineer’s presence in one of the company’s top performing markets and is part of an ongoing commitment to in-market representation. Landry will work closely with Aline Zafirian, Regional Business Manager, Eastern Canada, who is based out of Montreal, Quebec and focuses on growing business at the head office level with retail, wholesale and tour operator partners as well as further developing Quebec sales and the emerging groups, meetings and incentive markets.
